Getting Started
Welcome to the SURVEYING Learn-Civil-GIS module. Before beginning your lesson please make sure you satisfy the requirements below:
Requirements:
- ArcGIS version 9.2 or greater (You may download free 1-yr student)
- Data Files (found below)
- Internet connection and web-browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox)
Step 1
Download Handout
A typical handout is provided which contains additional details on the Surveying module’s objectives and deliverables
Step 2
Dowload the files below, install in writable location in your drive of choice
Download Data (Please download data before the lab session starts, to avoid delay of all downloading at the same time (clogs the server).)
Step 3
Click HERE to begin the web-based learning system and walk you through the module
