VI. d. Setting Map Properties

If the map shown in the layout needs a bit of “tweaking” you can take care of that at this time
In this exercise, you will:
  • Add a frame around the map image
  • Set the height and width of the map to an appropriate value
  • Assign a fixed value to the scale of the map shown

    1. Right click on the map image -> Properties

    2. Frame Tab -> Set the Border around the Map image (From no line to a thick line) -> Apply

    3. Size and Position Tab -> Set the Width and Height to an appropriate value for the page dimensions
