    1. Right click “Roads” layer → Properties → Labels tab

    2. In “Text Field” box, select the “Label Field” drop down menu

    3. Select “LABNAME”

    4. Select placement properties and check “Above” box

    5. Select “Apply” → OK

    6. Right click “Roads” layer → Properties → Label Features
