Insert a scale bar to the layout to inform the viewer of the scale
This exercise will help you:
  • Insert a scale bar to the layout
  • Select the appropriate scale bar units

  • Go to "Insert"

  • Select "Scale Bar"

  • From the “Scale Bar Selector” box select an appropriate scale bar

  • [Left] Click the “Properties” button and Select the "Scale and Units" tab

  • Select (Division Units, Label Units to desired units (miles, feet, etc.))/li>
  • Press “OK”
