Alcohol plays a major role in higher frequency of crashes, by finding out the day which is most affected will help us in providing counter measures such as law enforcement
This exercise will help you:
- Add Zonal Statistics by summarizing frequency of crashes under alcohol influence of all days of the week
Text Version:
- Right Click on the “All_Crashes_04-06” click on “Properties”
- [Left] Click on “Definition Query” and click on “Query Builder”
- Double Click on “ALCOHOLINV” and press ‘=’ and then type ‘Y’
- [Left] Click “OK”
- [Left] Click “Apply”
- [Left] Click on the “Zonal Statistics” and in the “Zone dataset” select “All_Crashes_04-06”
- In the “Zone field” select “WEEKDAY”
- In the “Value raster” enter the raster file which was saved in the “Density”
- Check “Ignore NoData in Calculations” and “Chart statistic”
- Scroll down in the “Chart statistic” and enter “Sum”
- Save the file by finding an appropriate location in the “Output table”
- [Left] Click “Ok”
