In order to simplify calculations, we may want to export our attribute table into another spreadsheet program (like Excel), but there is no direct link in ArcGIS. However, we can create a text file

  • Create a text file from attribute data

    2. Select: Options ->Export

    3. Under the export box, select “all records”

    4. Select the folder icon to specify a file location and type

    5. Specify a location and name

    6. In the “Save as type” box, select “Text File”
