Now that the map organization and aesthetics are complete, we need to address the proposed problem. Imagine that we have conducted a survey and obtained latitude and longitude coordinates for our route’s corners (and created a text file). We must import this data into your ArcMap program

In this exercise, you will:
  • Explore import options
  • Import a text file
  • Convert the text file into a table

    3. Select the route you want by left clicking it

    4. Press the “Add” button
