Sometimes we don’t need, or want, to see the coloring of a layer. For our project, we want the boundaries of the land parcels without the coloring, so let’s do it

In this exercise, you will:
  • Create a boundary

    1. Left click the shaded rectangle beneath the layer name to open up the “Symbol Selector” box

    2. Select “Hollow” from the scrolling color options

    3. Adjust the “Outline Width” to “1”

    4. Press “Apply to Preview” -> OK
      5. (Note: may have to move the parcels layer up to view the border)
