V. e. Setting map properties

If the map shown in the layout needs a bit of "tweaking" you can take care of that at this time.
In this exercise, you will:
  • Add a frame around the map image.
  • Set the height and width of the map to an appropriate value.
  • Assign a fixed value to the scale of the map shown.

    Text Version:
    Right click on the Map image >> Properties >>
    i. Frame Tab >> Set the Border around the Map image (from no line to a thick line) >> Apply
    ii. Size and Position Tab >> Set the Width and Height to an appropriate value for the page dimensions
