V. e. Setting map properties

If the map shown in the layout needs a bit of "tweaking" you can take care of that at this time.
In this exercise, you will:
  • Add a frame around the map image.
  • Set the height and width of the map to an appropriate value.
  • Assign a fixed value to the scale of the map shown.

    1. Right click on the Map image and click “Properties”

    2. Select “Frame” Tab

    3. Set the Border around the Map image (from no line to a thick line)

    4. Press “Apply”

    5. Select “Size and Position” Tab

    6. Set the Width and Height to an appropriate value for the page dimensions

    7. Press “OK”
