Finally, we will be needing some borrow material (soil) for the construction objective in our site. Let's see how many borrow sites are available in the GIS database and where are they located in the region. Can paint those too!
In this exercise, you will:
  • Give your borrow sites unique names.

    Make the “Borrow Sites” point layer show the borrow site names uniquely. Right Click the layer name >> Properties >> Symbology tab >> Left Click the “Categories” name in the “Show:” box to the left >> Left Click “Unique Values” >> In the “Value Field” drop down menu, select “Site_Name” >> Left Click “Add All Values” >> Apply to Preview >> OK
