So, lets locate where the construction sites are. On a map these are going to be shown as a point. In reality its an area, but for our decision making process we can represent this as a big dot or star, symbols can be changed and colored too!
In this exercise, you will:
  • Give construction sites unique names.

    Make the “Construction Sites” point layer show the construction site names uniquely. Right Click the layer name >> Properties >> Symbology tab >> Left Click the “Categories” name in the “Show:” box to the left >> Left Click “Unique Values” >> In the “Value Field” drop down menu, select “Const_Proj” >> Left Click “Add All Values” >> Apply to Preview >> OK
