Geographic Information System (GIS) software allows environmental engineers to manipulate spatial environmental data to assess pollutant distribution across regions, populations exposed and to identify resources for use or protection. In this lab you will import air pollution and population data for the city of Houston. From this data you will map out the ozone over the city and determine if certain population types are disproportionately affected.
