IV. j. Calculate Ozone Contribution

From the joined tables we will now add the Ozone Contribution from the Frequency Table to the Ozone Contribution Field of the Texas Tract Field. Here is where the data from the frequency table will be correlated and summed, being added to the census tract field, based on the BlockID field created in step IV.a

  • Add the value of the Ozone Contribution the Clipped Census Tract Layer

    1. Open the Census_Clip Attribute Table

    2. Right click on the Field titled Census_Clip.OzContr, it should be to the far right

    3. Click Field Calculator -> Yes

    4. In the text box set the value equal to the Census_Clip_Intersect_Freque.OzContr value

    5. Click Ok

    6. Repeat but this time right click on Census_Clip.8HrOzContr, and set it equal to Census_Clip_Intersect_Freque.8HrOzContr
