IV. h. Add an Ozone Contribution Field to the Clipped Census Tract Layer

Two new fields will be added, this time to the Census_Clip layer. These two new fields will end up being the ozone contribution from the frequency table, creating a total ozone value for each of the census tracts.
In this exercise, you will:
  • Use the Add Field command

    1. Right Click on the Census_Clip layer

    2. Click on Open Attribute Table

    3. Click Options -> Add Field

    4. Name the new Field OzContr

    5. Choose Double as the type

    6. Have the Precision be 18 and the scale be 3

    7. Click Ok

    8. Repeat but this time it should be 8HrOzContr
