I. e. i. 1. Opening the tools toolbar

We need to open a toolbar named “Tools” that will allow us to navigate spatially around the graphical data. Just like with Drafting software or a Word Processing program ArcGIS comes with its own tools to further enhance what can be done.
In this exercise, you will:
  • Customize your accessible functionality
  • Add the tools toolbar to your interface

    1. Open the “Tools” toolbar by Left Clicking “Views”

    2. Toolbars

    3. Left Click “Tools” from the drop-down menu IF it is not currently turned on (Toolbars are on when a checkmark is shown to the left of the toolbar name in the list, also the toolbar may have already been added)

    4. The “Tools” toolbar is now added to the view. Drag it to an appropriate location on the screen


      5. This may not be necessary if the tool bar has already been previously added
